RHOBH Star Teddi Mellencamp 'Heartbroken' After Losing Dog Tragically to an 'Accident' While Out of Town, Receives Support From Co-Stars

Teddi Mellencamp shared some sad news with her fans and followers on Instagram over the weekend.

Just months after revealing the happy news of her third pregnancy, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star confirmed that her beloved family dog, Khaleesi, died unexpectedly while being cared for in Los Angeles when she and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, were out of town with their kids.

“RIP to our loving, silly and adorable doggy Khaleesi. Our hearts are broken as we have had to say goodbye to you way too soon,” Teddi wrote in the caption of a family photo with Khaleesi on Instagram on Sunday. “Without going too into it– we were out of town and placed Khaleesi in a place of care where an accident happened. Sometimes things happen out of your control.”

“We our doing our best to grieve as a family while also remembering the good times with our furry baby. We love you and miss you dearly,” she added.

Following her heartbreaking post, Teddi, who shares two children, daughter Slate, 6, and son Cruz, 5, with Edwin, who also shares a 10-year-old daughter, Isabella, with an ex, received support from her co-stars, including Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Kyle Richards.

“Oh nooooo I’m so sorry Teddi!” Lisa wrote.

“So sad 😢,” said Dorit.

As for Erika and Kyle, they shared a series of sad-faced emoji.

When Teddi shared her pregnancy news in September, she revealed that her and Edwin’s children are “so excited” to be expanding their family.

“They’ve been talking about it for a long time and actually it’s been my son who’s been like, ‘Mom, we need to have another baby,’ and I never wanted to get his hopes up. So when we told him, he was through the roof. So excited,” she explained.

Teddi and Edwin will welcome a baby girl at the beginning of March.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 will air on Bravo TV sometime next year.
