The much anticipated period drama, Mamangam starring Mammootty is one of the awaited films of the year. The film has been the talk of the town since its inception and is creating a huge buzz among the moviegoers ahead of its big release on December 12. Interestingly, Mammootty is in Mumbai to release the Hindi trailer of his upcoming film. Finally, the new trailer is gripping and intense. Every frame sets high curiosity as Mammootty battles in the banks of Barathapuzha, during the Mamankam festival. Prachi Tehlan plays Unni Maya, a devadasi character.
The Malayalam superstar has gone under rigorous physical transformation and the same is evident in a few scenes while he is performing martial arts. He said, “I wanted this film to reach the non-Malayali audience too, so we translated it into Hindi also.”
Mamangam also stars Achutan, Sudev Nair, Siddique, Unni Mukundan, Sureshkrishna, and Manikkuttan. The film is set to release in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
